This event is by invitation only and I’m curious if it is truly worth it.

My friend told me that an interesting event will be held next Sunday. It’s called TED x uTokyo. TED is a famous presentation event and he has seen many of their videos on YouTube. He is enthusiastic about it. Indeed some of their videos give one a great feeling. I pondered if I should buy a ticket. Because the price is not affordable —booking a ticket costs¥8,000, which includes food and drinks for a whole day event. Another thing is I have a previous engagement and if I wanted to attend this event, I had to answer some questionnaires. I guessed the event organizer was worried that the venue will overflow many attendees, so they planned a troublesome questionnaires. (This event is by invitation only)
I answered it, but I didn’t expect to get through the screening. However, I’ got a ticket through my email.
Next Sunday I will listen to the presentation and I may ply speakers with questions.
After I experience this event, I hope to plod through my work and private life.
