Revolution of working style

I attended a seminar with my friend last Friday night. The venue was the main store of ‘Mother House’ which is making bag and accessory. This is one of my favorite Japanese brands. I’ve read 3 books written by Eriko Yamaguchi who is this company’s CEO. Her passion and strong will recall to respect and empathy after people read her books. I also respect Mr. Yamazaki who is the vice president of this company. He regularly organizing seminars, it calls ‘Mother House College’.
Attendees can listen and talk an interesting topic from some entrepreneur. Questioning is not prohibited, we can discuss the topic with the guest.

The theme in July 2017 is thinking future of how to working. I got many ideas from this event. “The system of Japanese traditional company ought to be changed”, said Mr. Aono who is the CEO of Cybozu. He was the main guest at this seminar. Cybozu is famous Japanese IT company, and their revolution of working style on the company make the hot topic. Japanese government makes some plans that aim are avoiding recurring ‘Death of overwork’. Mr. Aono attended the meeting of that project and told his opinion. However, he was pouting, “I was surprised and disappointed the results of government decisions when I’ve heard that”. He mentioned ‘the Premium Friday’ is not a good solution for overwork. I highly agree his opinion. Mr.Aono said they can prepare and approve to 100 way of work style for 100 workers. He created several rules for the system is good to work. Cybozu’s job system is an ideal and innovative in Japan. This is the most impression phrase to me.

“It’s not important whether the famous and big scale of the company if you want to work there. You ought to check the character of CEO. Can you respect him/her? Can you sympathize their philosophy of work? That is the essential question. ”
