“Zoom” system is like “Skype”. It was my first trial last night because my friend wanted to validate that system. There were 6 people, including me, who attended the test Zoom. The organizer is living in NY, so the test meeting started at 9 PM(JST). At the beginning, we couldn’t hear the organizer’s voice but we could see her face. However, other members could do video call. Organizer gave up to use PC, finally, she used iPhone.
All members were Japanese, but we spoke in English. 3 people use in English their job, but others not. Therefore the meeting sometimes uses Japanese when the idea was complicated to express. We discussed various topics such as Diet and bad eating habit, how to improve English speaking skill, how to keep the good motivation to learning, etc…
We enjoyed the online conversation but suddenly one of the members went offline. I also disconnected because I am using “Zoom” free account. They have limited free talk to 45 min. but it’s possible to reconnect to the same online group. then at least we talked approximately 90 minutes on “Zoom”.
If the system is not disconnected after 45 minutes, it will be more useful for the meeting. Anyway, I had a new experience. Technology is always developing, I have to try to learn new things. (Sometimes it annoying me…)
