I’ve heard an interesting story from my capoeira trainer. At that time, we were enjoying dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant after regular Saturday night capoeira class. “What is the key factor that will make a person continuously do capoeira or any other training?” My friend asked our capoeira trainer, “In my experience, that kind person will be enthusiastic for a long time if they think of themselves as a common man/woman. She said, “But actually, they have a little different viewpoint from society.” It means they are out of sync from other people. Everybody who has been doing capoeira for a long time is like that kind person. When we heard her answer we nodded, smiled and I was convinced that all my capoeira friends were like that. After that she said to me, “You are a typical example.” I was really surprised because I thought about it except of myself. I am a common woman. I never thought that I’m a special person. However…now I’m confused. What is an ordinary man? Most probably, nothing is common in this world. Everything is different. On the other hand, why did my thoughts dwell on the idea of “common” ? It’s an interesting thought for me.

“What is a key factor of continuous that people will do capoeira or some training?” A Friend asked the trainer of capoeira. “In my experience, that kind person be able to keen long time who think as a common man her/himself,” She said, “but actually, they have a little different viewpoint from society.” It means out of sync from another person. Everybody who has continuing capoeira long years is like that kind person. When we heard her answer we nodded, smiled and were convinced all that we imagine our members.
