If I couldn’t do the same thing that I did well in the past, I’ll be disappointed at myself. It’s a little bit sad. When I jogged with my friend, I couldn’t (1)keep up with her as I did a long time ago. It was only for 5 Km but my heart, legs, lungs told me, “Don’t be overconfident”. I’ve been telling my friends that I’ll make a habit of jogging again. It was one of my new year’s resolutions.
That regrettable experience motivated me to search for a good training program. Finally, I found the time to (2)kick it off.
“Raffine Running Style” is located near Kanda station.
It’s a convenient running studio with affordable prices, if you are jogging around the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. I recently decided to join one of their programs.

Time schedule
19:20 Rollcall. Jogging for 10 min. Warming up and stretching while going to the training place.
19:35 Start of basic training (Static stretching. Dynamic stretching. Learning the effective movements of running. Learning running theory.)
20:15 Comprehension Check (the Running activity of what you have just learned.)
Run three laps. (one lap is 1.2 km.)
As a guide, the running speed is about 6 minutes per kilometer.
We measured our running speed is 3 min per half Km.
The trainer led us 3 min per 500 m, and we did it 6 times.
After running 1 lap, we took a rest 1 min and drank water.
21:00 The end of training after stretching exercises.

There were 6 attendees including myself but 4 people were quicker than the suggested time. Their running speed was approximately 2 min per 500 m! I tried to keep up with their speed on the last lap, but I gave up immediately. I totally enjoyed this event. I wanted to talk more with the other attendees. I have a(4)bone to pick with the person who suggested we (3)knock back a few beers after running. That temptation was hard to resist, but I prevailed.
