“It’s not a worthy book if it is not worth reading again.”
-‘The territory of conscience’ by Susan Sontag
This phrase often comes to mind these days when I choose books. The criteria for choosing a book depends on the person.
In my case, I (1)count on the recommendations of people I respect.
As you know, there are various kinds of books that we should read.
However our life is short and is getting shorter day by day.
The act of reading is difficult, sometimes making us wish we could (2)cut through the rest of the book and immediately get to the conclusion.
At the end of the day, It is still possible to feel subtle disappointment when we finish reading a book.
I want to avoid that situation as much as possible.
That is one of the reasons why I prefer reading classics recently.
Reading classics is something beyond my wildest dreams since they are the sort of books that are worthy of being read several times.

Note: I’m trying to write an essay which is related my daily life because English is the second language for me. The rule is writing to include 4 assignment English expressions.
