These days I frequently use many of Google’s applications on the cloud. Because it’s definitely convenient to immediately share some ideas with several people when we try to create something new. For instance, I suggested creating a new product in a meeting in October. One member said that they wanted me to share my images more clearly. So I used Google Slides which is similar to the PowerPoint. If I didn’t use it, the plan for the new product wouldn’t have proceeded smoothly.
In another case, I avoided wasting time by using Google spreadsheets. Previously I’ve always attached an Excel data file on E-mails. However, that all sounds like a(2)drag now. Because if I need to edit the data with someone, sharing the local data requires more time. Surprisingly that cloud system is almost free. Amazing! Some software still (4)cost an arm and a leg now, but that business model is already out of date.
People already know the fact that they can access and edit data for free with any device anytime, anywhere. I couldn’t imagine this situation when I was younger. The internet is changing and improving at very high speeds. We should (1)dump outdated ideas.

最近よくGoogleのクラウドアプリケーションを使っています。特に複数の人たちとアイデや情報を共有して新しく何かを作ろうとする場合などに非常に便利です。例えば、10月の会議で新商品について提案したのですが、メンバーから叩き台になるアイデアを共有して欲しいと言われました。そこで私はGoogleスライドというパワーポイントに似ているプレゼンテーションソフトを使用しました。もし、それを使わなかったら、新商品の計画は早く進まなかったでしょう。別の例ですが、Googleスプレッドシートを使うことでムダな時間を省くことができます。以前はExcelデータをメールに添付して情報共有をしていました。でも今では、その方が手間がかかる気がします。もし私が誰かと情報を共有してお互いに編集する必要がある場合、クラウド上でデータを遣り取りした方がずっとスムーズだし早いです。驚くことに、こういったシステムは無料のものが多いですし。いまだに高額なソフトウェアは販売されていますが、そのビジネスモデルはもう時代遅れだと思うのです。だって、いつでも、どこでも、だれでも、どんなデバイスでも情報にアクセスして編集できることをみんなが知っているんですから。こんな未来がくるなんて若い頃には考えもしませんでした。私たちのインターネット環境は、ものすごい速度で変わり続け、進歩しています。時代遅れの固定概念は捨てるべきです。
