When the cat’s away the mice will play. Who is the cat if you are a mouse? What do you do when the cat’s away?
It’s an interesting question! It fits my previous colleague exactly, in this case, the cat is our boss. She sits on the left side next to the boss. I observed that she projects diligent working behavior when the boss is in his seat. However, if the boss goes out, she immediately polishes her nails, eats snacks, and often goes out to get a cup of coffee during working hours.
I believe that she may prove to be a good model to study the complexity of the low productivity office worker, especially because some idle workers can easily find an advantage to enhance their comfort in the office.
In spite of this case, I disagree to keep all workers under close observation, especially because motivated people don’t need it. By the way, I don’t have my cat nowadays. My attitude doesn’t change whether my boss stays or not in the office.

When the cat’s away the mice will play. Who is the cat if you are a mouse? What do you do when the cat’s away?
It’s interesting questions! My previous colleague is just in case, her cat is a boss. She sits on the left side next to the boss. I perceived that she imitates the behavior to diligently working when the boss sitting his seat. However, if the boss goes out, she immediately polishes her nails, eats snacks, and often go out to take a cup of coffee in working time.
I suggest that she may provide a good model to study the complexity of low productivity office worker, especially because some “lazy” workers can easily find an advantage to their own comfortability in the office.
In spite of this case, I disagree to keep under close observation to all workers, especially because a motivational people don’t need. By the way, I don’t have my cat nowadays. My attitude doesn’t change whether my boss stays or not in the office.
