Some stories need some consideration when deciding when and where to read them. One such story is Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment.” I’ve already downloaded the digital book because I enrolled for an unlimited plan at Kindle a month ago. However, I thought completely reading it would not be (3)child’s play. (4) To that end, I was waiting for the right time and place to read it and I finally decided last Monday night while I was at a beauty salon.
I had no idea that it was a real page-turner even though it is a classic. At that time I was dyeing my grey hair, and I found I had 2 hours of spare time at the salon to read it.
The protagonist, Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov used an ax the head, and her grey hair with it, of a pawnbroker, Alyona Ivanovna, who was definitely (1)no spring chicken.
What an ironic and weird situation. There I was, dyeing my hair while I was reading a story where an old lady dies. I was so irritated about the protagonist’s selfish imagination and behavior but I couldn’t stop reading it. I also realized that I also felt irritated when I read “The Brothers Karamazov”.
Anyway, I got nice timing to read it. If I were to read it alone, I could not finish reading the end of part 1.  The author, Dostoevsky was an absolute genius. He wrote absurdities and crazy situations in his story. His protagonists did something criminal but he finally got some punishment at the end of the story. (2)The chickens have come home to roost. Dostoevsky knew that kind of story plot was favorite as with many people.

Before the Revision

Title: The unforgettable situation for reading classic

Some story needs to consider reading place and time. One of the stories is Dostoevsky’s “crime and punishment”. I’ve already downloaded the digital book data because I contracted the unlimited plan at Kindle 1 month ago. However, I thought It’s not (3)child’s play for me to completely read it. (4) To that end, I was waiting for the right place and time, I finally found it at the beauty salon on Monday night.
This reason actually was added afterward because I didn’t recognize that was real page-turner even though the famous classic book. At that time I was dyeing my grey hair, thus I’ve had almost 2 hours spare time at the salon in order to read it.
The protagonist, Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov used an ax to hit the grey hair of a pawnbroker, Alyona Ivanovna, who was (1)no spring chicken.
What an ironically and weird situation where I was dyeing my hair while I was reading the story which old lady die. I was so irritated about his selfish imagination and behavior of Raskolnikov, but I couldn’t stop reading it. I also realized that I had also irritated when I had been read “the brother of Karamazov”.
Anyway, I got nice timing to read it. If I were read it alone, I could not finish reading the end of part 1.  The author, Dostoevsky was absolutely genius. He wrote absurdity and a crazy situation in his story. His protagonists did some crime. but they finally got some punishment the end of the story. (2)The chickens have come home to roost. Dostoevsky knew that kind of story plot was favorite many people.

homework:
(1)(no) spring chicken
To say that someone is no spring chicken means that they are quite old or well past their youth.
“How old is the owner?” “I don’t know, but she’s no spring chicken!”

(2)chickens come home to roost
If you say that chickens have come home to roost, you mean that bad or embarrassing things done in the past by someone are now causing problems for that person.
“As tenants the couple were noisy and disorderly. Now they can’t find a place to rent. The chickens have come home to roost!”

(3)child’s play
If something is referred to as child’s play, it is considered to be simple or easy to do.
“Using this new computer is child’s play compared to the old one.”

(4)To that end
Usage: Use “to that end” or “to this end” in a similar way to “in order to” or “so”.

Example: “Zoologists have long sought to understand how animals communicate with each other. To that end, a new study has been launched that looks at elephant sounds and their possible meanings.”
