I’ve read an E-mail from one of my mentors. He is an expert of time management. He recommended to review every day, week, month, and year. If I reviewed my record of my daily life at the end of the month, it would help me to improve in the next. I know that it is effective, but it was always difficult. So I changed my way of thinking. I stopped writing my life review in Japanese. Instead, I will write my monthly reviews in English. It’s a first time challenge for me.
Q1.What I want to do in the next month?
A1. Firstly, I will absolutely prepare for the next week’s meal!! I will take at least one rest day. If I couldn’t prepare my meals, my good daily routine is easily broken. Secondly, I will also take lessons in “English for Journalism” by coursera, and follow the deadline. Finally I will practice the Atabaque more.
Q2.What things would I like to stop?
A2. I spent too much money on lunch in August. I neglected to make my lunch box. I will not go to my favorite chinese restaurant for lunch over 2 times a week! And I will not eat an hour before I sleep.
Q3. What things will I continue next month?
A3.Writing my blog in both English and Japanese, completely read a book in English, train Capoeira once a week and take English lessons everyday on Skype.
◎In August 2016, my new experiences were:
- Climbed a mountain with new friends
- Interviewed another capoeira friend
- Repaired my Atabaque
- Enjoyed rental Cycling in my hometown
- Rode the new bullet train
- Went to new secondhand-bookstore
I’m proud of my self that I can do things and that I didn’t give up communicating in some troublesome situations this month. I overcame some obstacles.
