I recently had the chance to visit “The Lodge” which is open space managed by the main Japanese office of Yahoo. If you show your Identification card, you can visit it free of charge. (2)Head for the reception desk at the 17th floor where you are required to present your ID card. If you don’t have an idea where to go, (1)head off to the 2nd floor and ask there. There are many people who enjoy their time at their convenience at the Lodge. It is always crowded, so it may not be easy to find a seat. The atmosphere felt similar to a college cafeteria or a public library. Visitors can read several books which the area organizers recommend. You can also use electricity and Wi-Fi freely. The cafeteria opens at lunchtime and they also have a cafe/bakery. It is an unbelievable show of hospitality. I never imagined it’d possible for a private company. I guess it’s good publicity but it’s nonprofit. I’ve known Yahoo Japan is a (4)blue chip company however, it made me appreciate the breadth of their experience and how immense they’ve grown.
If a person is assaulted by another, the victim’s common reaction would be to (3)hit back. Contrarily, If a person receives exceptional hospitality from someone or a company, they would naturally think of returning the favor or giving a reward. It is hard to measure this effect, but I predict some people will become huge fans of the company.
Before the Revision
Title: Why do people want to go there?
( The initial question sounded negative. We can use it if you were feeling sarcastic. e.g Why would anybody want to go that restaurant? It’s such a dump!)
It’s the first time I visited “Lodge” which is open space managing by Yahoo Japan main office. If you show your Identification card, you can visit there no charge. So Firstly, you (2)head for the reception at 17th floors because it requires to show your ID card. If you are confused that where do you (1)head off, you can ask it on the 2nd floor. There are many people enjoy their time at the convenience place. “Lodge” is always crowded, so you may find the seat not easily. I felt its atmosphere is similar to a cafeteria of college or public library. Visitors can read several books which the area organizers recommended. You can use electricity and Wi-Fi freely. At lunchtime Cafeteria will open. Cafe bakery also opens. It’s unbelievable hospitality. I never imagined it’s possible for a private company. I guess it’s a good promotion but it’s nonprofit. I’ve already known Yahoo Japan is one of (4)blue chip companies. However, I realized directly how big they grew and earned in this experience. If people will be attacked by somebody, he wants to (3)hit back the man. In the opposite, If people will get high hospitality from somebody or company, they think a reply to rewards something. I can’t measure that effect, but I predict some kind of people will become a big fan of the company.
