She had a long career of doing capoeira, thus she was (1) a class act, especially while playing musical instruments and singing Portuguese songs. However, we’ve already quit the club at different times and for different reasons. What food do you need to survive in your new environment?” I replied, ”I’m craving for Umeboshi; Japanese plum pickles!!!!” “Fine! I’ll prepare homemade one. Anything else?” “I can’t think of anything else.” “Really? You should think more, because I know the Japanese soul food will help you when you get stressed from your job or something” After I’ve read her texts, I added to the list some rice snacks and natto: fermented soybeans.
After she arrives and I eat Umeboshi, I might cry of happiness.
