Prejudice is not easy to recognize because most people subconsciously have it. Even if a person is (0)clean as a whistle, it’s not proof they don’t have any prejudices or destiny instinct. I’m still reading “Factfulness’”  7th Chapter — “Destiny Instinct”.
When the author, Hans Rosling said at some conference that the future of Africa will (1)clear the way for the next decade, some
attendees refused his idea. They don’t have any evidence, simply believing the destiny instinct. They didn’t learn its history, whereas a colonized land its wings were (3)clipped by developed countries. Did they have a fair chance to (2)clinch a deal opportunity in economy and politics? Is that an unfair fate for them to still continue into the future? The author showed the statistics of drastic improvement we hadn’t predicted before.  (4)Similarly, we often lack analyzing logical evidence because we don’t realize our own ignorance of history.  We can freely see the statistics on the internet, but everybody doesn’t turn that information into knowledge.  I’ll become the person who can think based on evidence of numbers.
