I’ve read several books talking about the techniques of speed reading books. It was rare for a reliable book, since I have been nosing around for something like it. It was not (4)a breeze but I finally found it.
The author said that there are 2 kinds of books, those deserving to be perused or those that are fine with rapid reading. Our life is limited and there are countless books out there. Thus we have to do rapid reading when (2)nosing about for a worthy book.
This is a perused reading technique.
1. Firstly, try to read in the middle of the book.
2. Prepare a pencil, eraser, and notebook.
3. Read while underlining certain passages.
4. Box important parts with a square
5. Transcribe the boxed parts in the notebook.
6. Read the conclusion three times
The most important thing of perusal is reading the same book 3 times.
First time: Underline passages while reading through the book
Second time: (3)note down the important parts of the book
Last time: Read through the book again
I’m not sure if I can do this style of reading completely without (1)nodding off but I’m going to try it.
