I have several new year resolutions in 2018. One is to go to the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland. However, I only imagined going there without any detailed plans at the beginning of the year. I actually didn’t think deeply about it at that time. Now, I just reserved a 6-hour study tour ticket for April.

One of the triggers that made me take the plunge was a tweet on February 6th. Somebody tweeted the video of Yuja Wang playing the piano. The video inspired me to attend her concert, and I searched her tour schedule on the internet. I found out that she will have a concert in Tokyo in March, but it’s almost sold out. I gave up because the only available seats are the most expensive ones. I almost fainted when I saw the price 30,000 yen but I (1) came to quickly and continued to search. I found out she will have a concert in Warsaw in April, and the price is about one-tenth compared to the one that will be held in Tokyo.

I (3)came up with a great idea of achieving my new year’s resolution at that moment. My friend gave me advice in choosing the best airline. He told me that my (4) best bet would be to take a direct flight via Polish Airlines. They offer affordable prices and short travel times so I checked the price of round-trip tickets from Tokyo to Warsaw in April.

However, I succumbed to the temptation of having stopovers against the idea he (3)came up with. I chose a more expensive and slower flight that stops in Helsinki and Paris. I hope it all comes up roses in the end.

Title: Temptation of Stopover
There are several new year resolutions in 2018 for me. One aim is going to the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland. However, I only imagined going there without any detail planning at the beginning of the year. I actually didn’t think deeply at that time. Now I could reserve 6 hours study tour ticket. My aim will be achieved in April.

One of the triggers was a tweet on 6th February. Somebody tweeted the video of Yuja Wang’s playing piano. The video inspired me to participate her concert, and I searched the schedule on the website. I found the concert will be held in March in Tokyo, but it almost filled up. I gave up because there is only the highest price seat. I almost fainted when I saw the price 30,000 yen but I (1) came to quickly and continued to search. I found her concert will hold in Warsaw in April, and the price is about one-tenth compared with Tokyo.

I (3)came up with a great idea for connecting with my new year resolution at that moment. My friend gave me the advice to choose the airline which is the best. He recommended the direct flight of Polish Airlines. They offer affordable price and fast flight. I checked the price of round-trip flight tickets to Warsaw from Tokyo of April.

As a result, I accepted my temptation of stopover (2)come up against his idea. I chose more expensive and slow flight which transit Helsinki and Paris. I hope its (4)best bet for me.
