I recently learned the meaning of the words: politically motivated investigation. I had the chance to (2)indulge in some non-fiction when I read the book titled “Trap of the Japanese Nation.”
The author was a diplomat who was arrested by a prosecutor in 2005. He tried to (1) improve upon Russo-Japanese ties together with a politician. They were (4) in the same boat and tried their best, but their anonymous enemy had some political intentions. They were trapped and investigated on for over 500 days in solitary confinement. The author (3) jotted down the details while he was being investigated by a prosecutor. After he was released on bail, this book was published and became a bestseller in Japan. I highly respect his strong beliefs and learned 3 important things from him. Firstly, writing skill will help us. Secondly, to think logically and hone your negotiation skills. Finally, Don’t change your own core belief. If a prosecutor wants to investigate somebody, nobody can run away. However, if you are innocent, and have the 3 aforementioned skills, you may prevail over him.
