“I want to get a manicure!” that thought (3)popped up suddenly in my mind during lunchtime last Wednesday. I was surprised because getting a manicure is not so common for me nowadays. When I was young I applied nail polish on my own, but that kind of passion had gradually (1)played down. I had no reason to resist the desire for beautiful nails and searched a nail salon near my office on apps that I always use. The nail salon was in one of the apartments on the 7th floor. I hesitated to press the doorbell because I first thought of (2)popping in to check the atmosphere of the salon. However, I didn’t give up paying them a visit. The nail technician showed many samples, but I couldn’t (4)bring anything to the table because I didn’t have knowledge about gel nails. She explained the latest and popular styles politely. I chose an elegant shape, length, design, and color. It was finished in about 30 minutes while I enjoyed talking with the nail technician. I was satisfied with the perfect and completed nails at an affordable price.
